Integration of Hosokawa Solids Solutions GmbH
Hosokawa Alpine AG continues integration process and strengthens central structures
Hosokawa Alpine AG, headquartered in Augsburg/Germany, is continuing its ongoing transformation process. In response to changing market requirements and the company’s strategic development, the German Hosokawa Solids Solutions GmbH will be integrated into the parent company effective October 1, 2026. The aim is to further deepen collaboration within the group and provide customers with even more comprehensive and integrated solutions in the field of mechanical process engineering by combining expertise and resources. At the same time, this step will strengthen the economic foundation for the company’s sustainable development.
As a result, the Augsburg headquarters will gain further importance. In the future, the sales and service expertise of Hosokawa Solids Solutions GmbH will also be consolidated and further developed there. This will enable the group to create the conditions necessary to implement projects more quickly and offer customers turnkey systems with integrated solutions from a single source. As a result, Hosokawa Alpine AG’s grinding, classification and compaction technologies will be brought together under one roof with Hosokawa Solids Solutions GmbH’s storage, conveying, weighing, and dosing technologies.
A large proportion of the workforce in Schwabmünchen will be given the opportunity to continue their professional careers within the Hosokawa Group at the Augsburg site. For the remaining employees, individual solutions will be developed that take their personal and professional circumstances into account. The Spanish subsidiary Hosokawa Solids S.L. is not affected by these changes, and the Hosokawa Solids brand will continue to exist.
"The past years have shown that, as a group, we can work successfully together and manage change collectively. Changing market requirements make it necessary for us to further develop our structures in a targeted manner. With this step, we are completing a process that began some time ago and creating clarity for the future. At the same time, we are strengthening our position as a provider of integrated solutions and bringing our expertise even closer together, while managing this transformation for our employees in a responsible and transparent way," says Michael Kuhnen, CEO of Hosokawa Alpine.
