Calciplex ACP air classifier
We have continuously adapted our successful classifier technology to meet rising market demands. The Alpine ACP was developed on the basis of tried-and-tested classifier concepts and utilising the proven solid body rotation principle. It sets new standards in the processing of the finest materials in powder technology.
The ACP classifier is based on a newly developed classifier wheel technology. During the development of the ACP series, factors such as maximum separation efficiency, handling, cleaning, and operating and installation costs were taken into account, amongst other things.
Key points at a glance
- Robust classifier housing of solid cast iron ensures smooth running and durability
- Low pressure drop
- Low classifying wheel speed
- Maximum throughput rates in the fineness range d97 = 6 – 40 μm

The feed material is offered from bottom pneumatically together with the primary central air flow. This airstream disperses the material and directs it to the classifier wheel on top of the classifier. With a high wheel speed, only fine particles can enter the classifier wheel. Coarse particles are rejected and leave the classifier through the bottom discharge.
- Optimisation of the classifying wheel on the basis of the in-house developed NG geometry
- Energy savings of up to 25 % compared with long-established machine generations
- Ideal in a closed circuit with ball mills or as a high-performance final classification unit
- Constant particle size distribution with precise top cut
- Excellent price-performance ratio
