Researchers, experts, engineers and technicians from the particle processing industry will gather at Hotel Dorint An der Kongresshalle in Augsburg to discuss current topics and future trends in mechanical process technology. Participation is free of charge, but due to limited places, early registration is recommended. Registrations are still possible until 28 August 2023. The language of the conference is English.

"Our Hosokawa Powder Technology Symposium aims to provide inspiration and promote new ideas for innovative research and development work," says Dr Antonio Fernández, CEO of Hosokawa Alpine AG.

Discourse on forward-looking technologies in particle processing

The symposium offers the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and technologies in particle processing and to discuss how processes can be made more efficient and energy-saving. "Our goal is to bring together findings from scientific research and practice," explains Fernández.

Inspiring expert lectures on megatrends and future topics

In addition to representatives of Hosokawa Alpine, speakers on the first day will include Dr. ir. Gabrie Meesters from the Delft University of Technology on current trends in particle processing and Christoph Thon from the Institute for Particle Technology at the Technical University of Braunschweig on artificial intelligence in process technology. The future of cultured meat and the production of cell culture media will be the subject of a presentation by Appachu Kodira, Managing Director of KCell Biosciences and Vice President, Global Tech Operations at JSBiosciences.
