Hosokawa Alpine Aktiengesellschaft welcomes 16 new apprentices and trainees to its headquarters in Augsburg at the start of the training year. The mechanical engineering company is thus securing the skilled workers of tomorrow.

Hosokawa Alpine is offering training in six different professions this year. The new apprentices include three industrial mechanics, two construction mechanics, two mechatronics engineers, three cutting machine operators, two industrial clerks and two technical product designers. Two trainees are starting a dual degree programme in mechanical engineering.

The long-established Augsburg-based company, which specialises in powder and particle processing technologies and blown film extrusion, employs a total of 52 trainees, eight of whom are enrolled in dual study programmes. Member of the Executive Board Jürgen Wilde welcomes the 16 trainees. ‘Training young talent means shaping the future. With every apprentice, we are not only investing in the next generation of skilled workers, we are also securing the long-term success of Hosokawa Alpine and our entire industry,’ emphasises Wilde. 

The company is once again ensuring a smooth start this year with its ‘induction days’. During the first few weeks, trainees receive all the important information about the company, its products and the training programme.

Hosokawa Alpine offers a broad range of training programmes in both the industrial and commercial sectors. Dual study programmes are also becoming increasingly popular. Regardless of the training path chosen, Hosokawa Alpine attaches great importance to the internal professional development of its trainees and supplements vocational school teaching with a wide range of additional in-house offerings via the Alpine Campus.
