The optimum choice of film take-off governs the film flatness, which can also be optimised by various different configurations. The Hosokawa Alpine oscillating take-off systems can be designed for layflat widths of up to 3500 mm and take-off speeds of up to 250 m/min. Our turning bar system with crimping device is available mounted on a revolving frame or suspended on a bearing. The take-off rollers are composed of a steel-rubber pair and are driven by a frequency-controlled servo motor. In the flattening system, the film passes over bearing-mounted rollers with surfaces made of light, wear-resistant carbon fibres.
