High-efficiency film winding
The Alpine HWD combines the advantages of flatbed and turret winders in a single machine. With its 1500-millimetre winding diameter, the Alpine HWD is designed for high roller weights. Web speeds of up to 300 metres per minute ensure higher productivity of the entire line. Through continuous use of the central drive and therefore constantly defined web tensions, the new winder allows winding without film routing right from the first metre. Adhesion-free winding is achieved by exploiting electrostatic charge. The Alpine HWD also allows resource-saving winding without peripheral trimming. Winding without a pre-winding station also makes the new winder from Hosokawa Alpine an attractively priced solution for cast film applications.
